Nice to see you 👋

Bio

The basics ->

I’m a Providence-based games writer and cultural critic. Most recently, I worked as a Specialist Writer at CD Projekt RED on Project Sirius, a title in the Witcher IP.

I specialize in stories that offer no easy answers, that haunt the player long after they put down the controller. I’m an expert in developing settings rich in lore and thoughtful worldbuilding and characters with deep complexity. My writing experience has gone hand-in-hand with innovative narrative design, balancing ambition and scope to create truly surprising and memorable stories.

The Details ->

I completed a Master’s in Comparative Media Studies from MIT, where my research focused on how virtual bodies are imagined in digital spaces, particularly in regard to gender.

I studied creative writing and film at Wellesley College and in 2019 completed an M.F.A. in fiction from University of Massachusetts Boston. Between 2015 and 2018 I attended Yale Writers’ Conference and Colgate Writers’ Conference for short stories and novel writing. My fiction has been awarded The Charlotte Reese Prize for Creative Writing and appears in Emerging Fiction Writers of Massachusetts anthology from Z Publishing.

My critical essays and reviews have appeared at Ms. Magazine, The Establishment, Bust, Critical Flame, and elsewhere.

In 2017, I received The Academy of American Poets Prize. My poetry appears in Origins Journal, Burning Word, Daphne, and elsewhere.

I created and edited the film and media section of Atticus Review from 2015 to 2019. She is currently the Promotions Director at AGNI Magazine and is one of the founding editors of Mortar Magazine.

She votes with the Boston Online Film Critics Association.
